QQI Care Skills
The QQI Level 5 Care Skills course (Module 5N2770) is designed to equip learners with the practical skills and knowledge needed to provide safe, person-centered care. It is designed to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and competence required to deliver safe, effective and person-centered care within a variety of healthcare settings. On successful completion, learners will be equipped to work confidently in care roles that involve supporting clients with personal and daily living needs.

Skills Demonstration 60% – As part of the Care Skills module, a skills demonstration is used to assess a wide range of practical based learning outcomes including practical skills and knowledge. A skills demonstration will require the learner to complete a task or series of tasks that demonstrate a range of skills
Project 40% – A project is a response to a brief devised by the assessor. A project is usually carried out over an period of time. Projects may involve research, require investigation of a topic, issue or problem or may involve process such as a design task, a performance or practical activity or production of an artefact or event
