Early Childhood Curriculum 6N1944 is a component of the Early Childhood Curriculum Level 6 Award. Classes will take place in CSN with 2m social distancing and all students must wear mask. Students should have access to computer/laptop with internet access. QQI Fees included in cost.
Course Content:
Objectives of the Programme Module: • To familiarise the learner with a range of pedagogical approaches in early childhood • To critically reflect on the role of the adult in delivering ECCE programmes. • To assist the learner in the understanding of the learning contexts which support children’s wellbeing and identity and belonging • To apply theoretical knowledge to curriculum theory, practice and assessment. • To assist the learner to develop the academic and vocational language, literacy and numeracy skills related to Early Childhood Care and Education through the medium of the indicative content
