This full time Engineering Technology Level 5 course is designed to meet the needs of a variety of students who wish to explore the field of engineering. The course aims to develop skills, knowledge, and expertise essential to gaining an apprenticeship in a range of trades in the industry, as well as providing progression opportunities to those interested in studying engineering at third level.

Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied, QQI level 4 full award. Mature students are welcome. Students who may not have formal academic requirements but who have the ability to successfully participate on the course will be considered.
If English is not your first language you may be asked to complete an English assessment.

Students will have developed pre-apprenticeship skills which will make them eligible for employment and progression into a range of trades and apprenticeships.
Students can also progress to a number of degrees in a Universities including TU Dublin.
