KEYBOARD  PIANO – Improvers

Note: This class is for students who have completed a beginners course and /or for new students who are not complete beginners and have the basics in Keyboard Piano

Course Description:

This is a 10 week course for the keyboard/Piano. The course builds on the course for beginners.

It will be taught by a mixture of music theory and playing the instrument. With regular practice and knowledge built up over the weeks you will be increasing the musical skills required to play the instrument.

 If you have previously played keyboard and just want to get back into it now, have an understanding of some music theory, this maybe the course for you.

If you have already completed the beginners course, then this is the follow on course. This course will be taught in a relaxed atmosphere.

Some of the topics we will cover include:

•  Playing the instrument and learning about:
• Rhythm
• Time signatures
• Key signatures
• Musical notation on the treble and bass clef
• Pitch
• Melody
• Dynamics
• Structure

PLEASE NOTE: Students are required to bring in their own keyboard each night for class.

Course Day & Time: Tuesday evening 8.30 - 9.30 pm

Start Date: 22/09/26

Cost: €90 

Course Format: In class with tutor. Maximum of 8 students.

Duration: 10 weeks
