Are you looking to learn a new skill or refresh your knitting skills? This Knitting for Beginners course is for those who do not yet know about ‘in, thread around, through and out’ are especially welcome to join.
Have you a knitting project gathering dust and need a little motivation or guidance in completing it? If so, this is the course for you. If you haven’t held a knitting needle since you were a child, you will surprise yourself at how quickly you’ll master the basics.
Knitting is an enjoyable activity for all ages. As well as mastering the basics, you’ll benefit from the social aspects of a relaxed like-minded group.
Students are encouraged to bring unfinished projects, their own yarns, needles (chunky wool – size 5; double knitting – size 4) and patterns.

This 10-week course commences in September and in January Beginners and Improvers classes are available If you can count to 13 you can learn to play Bridge! Bridge is a great way to develop and retain memory, tactical and communication skills.
