Maintaining healthy employee relations in an organisation is a pre-requisite for organisational success. Employee relations generally deal with avoiding and resolving issues concerning individuals which might arise out of or influence the work situation. Employees may feel so ‘aggrieved’ about an issue or incident that it impacts their work to the point where the organisation has no choice but to initiate disciplinary action so they can be linked as issues or be completely separate with no links.
This half day online Managing Grievance and Discipline Issues in the Workplace workshop is designed for Line Managers and/or Team Leaders with devolved HR responsibility to equip them with the knowledge, skills and techniques required to effectively manage grievance and/or disciplinary issues and conduct all related conversations and enquiries. It is also suited to HR staff working in employee relations.

The Managing Grievance and Discipline Issues in the Workplace workshop has been modified for online delivery and will consist of a half day workshop (typically 2:00pm - 5:00pm). It will be delivered remotely via Zoom and facilitated by a subject matter expert. The maximum number participating on this workshop is 16 to ensure time for group work and discussion.
Participants will be advised to connect on the day from a PC or Laptop. They should have WiFi, Webcam and Microphone available so that they can fully participate in the online workshop activities and discussion.
