The overall aim of the MBS is to produce independent minded, self reliant graduates with the theory, practice and research capability for employment as managers in both specialist and non-specialist roles across a broad range of industry sectors.
The aim of the Master of Business Studies taught programme is to produce graduates with the theory, practice and research capability for employment as managers in a broad range of industry sectors, with a specific specialism in the areas of Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Graduates should also be capable of pursuing further studies to Ph.D. level.

| Entry Requirements | Applicants must have a recognised honours degree, normally a 2:2 or higher, in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, accounting or related discipline. This programme is available on a one year full-time basis (attending 2 days per week), or a two-year part-time basis (attending 1 day per week). The period of structured tuition is September to May (2 semesters), with the dissertation submitted in August. Examinations will take place in January and May. You should apply directly to the Lifelong Learning Centre, Dundalk I.T. on an MBS application form (See Further Informatoin). While all eligible students may apply, places are limited, and firm offers will be made on the basis of academic results plus an interview. |
