| Entry Requirements | Applicants must be 16+ years of age on entry to the course. Junior Certificate standard of education or equivalent. Mature applicant route available. Applicants must have completed the Basic Welding Full-Time course or the MMA, MIG, and TIG evening courses or have 2 years of work experience with all 3 processes. Good interpersonal skills. Competent written and spoken English (CEFR B1 or Higher). Non-EU/EEA applicants must have permission to work in Ireland. Applicants will be required to complete a trainability welding test as part of the interview process. |
