Course Description:

This course is suitable for beginners to intermediate skill sets in woodwork. This woodwork course teaches the correct and safe use of woodworking hand tools. The participants will learn how to mark our pieces accurately and how to get the most out of hand tools, just as the true masters do!

From design basics to finishing touches, you'll master tool use, wood selection, and assembly techniques. Perfect for nature enthusiasts and DIY novices alike, this hands-on course transforms beginners into confident builders. Join us for weekly sessions filled with creativity and skill-building.

Key Course Highlights:

• Hands-on Carpentry Skills: Master the basics of woodworking, from measuring and cutting to joining and finishing. You'll be sawing and hammering like a pro in no time!
• Weekly Workshops: Immerse yourself in 8 engaging sessions, each building upon the last. Watch your skills grow week by week as your birdhouse takes shape.
• Complete Birdhouse Project: By the end of the course, you'll have created a charming home for your feathered friends. Imagine the pride of seeing birds flock to your handcrafted haven!
• All Tools Provided: No need to invest in expensive equipment. We supply all the basic carpentry tools you'll need, from sturdy hammers to precise measuring tapes.
• Expert Guidance: Our experienced instructors will be with you every step of the way, offering tips, tricks, and encouragement.

Outcome:

By the end of this course, you'll have mastered basic woodworking techniques that will serve as a solid foundation for future projects. From measuring and cutting to joining and finishing, you'll gain the skills to bring your creative visions to life.

Cost: €210 (This includes cost of all materials needed for the class)

Please Note: All tools are for this course will be provided by the tutor

Course Format: In class with tutor. Maximum of 12 students.

Duration: 8 weeks (2.5 hours per night)
