Whether you're starting your welding journey or looking to upskill and re-certify to meet industry standards, NWI offers a robust learning environment grounded in recognised standards, codes, and best practices.
Trainees at NWI benefit from their own dedicated work cubicles, fully equipped with state-of-the-art welding equipment and consumables. Instruction is led by highly qualified, fully coded tutors with extensive real-world experience in the welding industry. These experts provide hands-on guidance using the latest welding techniques to ensure learners are job-ready.
Courses at NWI cover a wide range—from foundational skills for beginners to advanced techniques for experienced welders seeking to refine their craft. All trainees are given the opportunity to earn certification across major welding processes, enhancing their employability and career prospects.
Upon completing the training, welders undergo testing and certification in line with BS EN ISO 9606-1:2013 (previously BS EN 287-1:2011) and/or ASME IX, with all tests adhering to BS EN ISO 15614-1:2004 standards. Graduates leave NWI with the skills and credentials necessary to pursue employment in the welding sector. Refresher courses are also available for those looking to update specific skills and maintain high standards of practice.
