This September, Maynooth University welcomed the first cohort of student nurses to the newly launched MH701 BSc Nursing programme, an important milestone for Maynooth University.
This innovative programme integrates theory, skills practise and practice placements. It aims to prepare competent graduates who are confident in their ability to deliver person centred, safe, compassionate, evidence-based, effective and high-quality care across diverse healthcare settings. The School's goal is that on completion of the programme nursing graduates are, flexible and adaptable, capable of working in rapidly changing healthcare contexts and settings, critical thinkers and future leaders with capacity to effect change to positively benefit patient care and health care.
