Finding your voice with Liz McSkeane.
This course is suited both to beginners and more experienced writers. The course comprises a sequence of workshop-led two hour sessions.
Classes will focus on developing the individual writer's greatest strengths, their style, story and emotional resonance. At the end of the course participants should have a short story, opening chapter of a novel, a scene for a play or screenplay or a poem.
Liz McSkeane is a poet, short story writer and novelist. She won the Hennessy New Irish Writer of the Year Award for her poetry and her début novel, 'Canticle', was a winner in the Irish Writers Centre Novel Fair. Her collection of short stories, 'What to Put in a Suitcase' was published in October, 2022. She is the founder and Director of Turas Press, an independent publishing house based in Dublin.
